As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in advancing the technology that powers our Senior Solutions division, delivering scalable and innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and business partners. Working with modern technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, React, and AWS cloud platforms, you’ll lead development efforts, mentor team members, and drive impactful technical solutions in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Engineer III): $130,000 - $150,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2025, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2025, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2025 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, and frameworks like React for front-end development, ensuring alignment with SDLC and software engineering patterns.
  • Build and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes or similar tools, integrating event-driven architecture to enhance system scalability and responsiveness.
  • Develop and optimize database queries with Intermediate SQL skills, and implement cloud solutions with Intermediate Cloud Development expertise, including AWS services such as serverless computing and API development (preferred).
  • Lead the implementation of unit and automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium, to ensure robust, high-quality software delivery across teams.
  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github, Gradle, and MuleSoft to streamline integration and deployment processes, fostering efficient cross-team development.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 8 or more years of professional development experience, and proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and frameworks like React, with a strong understanding of software engineering patterns and frameworks to develop scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with containers such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm, and knowledge of event-driven architecture for building distributed systems.
  • Intermediate skills in SQL and cloud development, with practical application in modern software engineering practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor others across teams, fostering the adoption of best practices in programming, unit testing, and navigating the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to meeting the expectations of business partners and external customers by aligning team efforts with the technical vision for the supported segment or domain.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with MuleSoft, Github CI/CD, Gradle, and AWS technologies (serverless computing, API development, and CDK) to enhance integration and deployment workflows. Familiarity with legacy systems such as Websphere, TomCat, Linux, or Cobol
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium to support robust quality assurance processes.
  • Background in the insurance industry
