The goal of this position is to ensure the security and safety of the company's employees, visitors, contractors, property, and grounds. This involves preventing unauthorized access, patrolling the area, issuing ID cards to authorized personnel, and responding to hazards, intrusions, theft, vandalism, equipment issues, and medical emergencies. The overall aim is to protect the company's people, facilities, assets, and grounds. This is a full time day position, 7:00am - 3:00pm, Wednesday through Monday. Days off are Monday and Tuesday.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Hourly Wage: $19.00, plus annual bonus opportunity.

- Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
- Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
- Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage entry to facilities by checking IDs, recording entries, using software for verification, and utilizing a visitor badging system.
- Regularly patrol and monitor the complex for hazards, intrusions, theft, and vandalism, ensuring safety and security.
- Turn off office lights after hours, check firefighting equipment, ensure doors are secured, and inspect kitchen appliances. Report equipment needing repair and security violations.
- Provide escort services for employees, money transfers, and terminated staff. Assist with traffic control during events and weather incidents.
- Assist in medical emergencies, support clerical tasks, control entry to visitor lots, and provide parking assistance to visitors and employees.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Understanding of security procedures, fire detection systems, building equipment malfunctions, and areas prone to intrusions or vandalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment, such as vehicles, scanners, and UHF radios, with knowledge of fire extinguishers and basic keyboarding skills in a Windows environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, human relations, and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift over 50 pounds, operate a motor vehicle, and maintain certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid, with compliance to OSHA standards.
- Must maintain regular attendance, be available for overtime, and function as a first responder, with the ability to work 24/7, including holidays and severe weather conditions.
