We are seeking competitive relationship driven individuals for our Employee Benefit Sales Trainee Program. Our Sales Trainees take part in a comprehensive 12 month training program to develop skills and competencies to successfully wholesale Group Insurance benefits to brokers. Each Sales Trainee will be assigned a mentor to guide them through the program while gaining real world sales experience and exposure to the group insurance industry.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Upon licensing, $50,000 plus commission.
- Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
- Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
- Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
- Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Participates in a comprehensive program to develop skills and competencies to successfully sell Group Insurance products to brokers. Completes self-study, classroom training and on-site experience projects according to curriculum. Effectively contributes to classroom discussions. Participates in goal-setting and progress evaluation meetings.
- Obtains direct experience by working with seasoned sales representatives to market Group Insurance products to brokers and clients. May rotate between Group Insurance sales offices as a required part of the program.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal business partners. Develops a high level of working knowledge about offered products.
- Masters the quoting system and underwriting processes in order to oversee the completion of content, proposals and paper work flow throughout the field and Home Office.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Ability to successfully achieve criteria of Sales Trainee Program.
- Competitive personality and desire to win.
- Must possess or attain licensed agent/producer status within 60 days of entry into the job.
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the work period and a valid driver's license. Access to reliable transportation in order to attend meetings on short notice and travel within assigned territory.

PREFERRED:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry, products and marketing practices.
